ARTISTS' FURNITURE PAINT COMBINATION

A NEWQUAY based artist is opening an art gallery with a difference this week. Melanie McDonald is combining her art with her two furniture shops.
Melanie has relocat­ed her Pydar Gallery in Truro in to her fur­niture shops - Celtic Pine and OAK.
This long established Newquay furniture company is launching the gallery in its Wadebridge and Penzance branches.
Melanie who lives and has her studio in Newquay said: "The whole idea behind combining my gallery with our furniture shops is art and interi­ors.  "Earlier this year I noticed more and more Celtic Pine and OAK customers complement­ing their purchase with a painting."
